My Swaps

Current Swaps

This area displays a list of all swaps that you have on the go. It shows you who you are swapping with, what items are involved in the swap and the status of the swap.

The swaps are listed in date order so the swaps at the top of the list are the ones that have been started or updated most recently.

The status of the swap can be Started, Accepted or Confirmed.

Started means that it has either been started by you (no action required) or started by the other user, which means that this is a new swap that you should look at and either accept it or cancel it.

Accepted means that either you have accepted a swap started by someone else (no action required) and are waiting from them to confirm the swap or the other user has accepted your swap and you should now confirm it.

Confirmed means that either you or the other user have confirmed the swap and you should get their postal or email address and actually do the swap.

Any swaps that are shown in bold mean that you are required to take some action at this stage.

Completed Swaps

This contains a list of all of your swaps that have been completed, displayed in the same format as with Current Swaps.

Cancelled Swaps

This contains a list of all of your swaps that were started then cancelled by either you or the other user.

The status here will either be 'Cancelled by you' or 'Cancelled by otheruser'.

Swap Details

You can view the details of the swap by clicking on the 'Details' link on the My Swaps page.

The most important part of this page is the dotted box near the top. This shows you what you need to do next (if anything). There is also the option here to cancel the swap if have changed your mind for any reason.

The Swap Details page also shows you who you are swapping with, the method of the swap, the items being swapped, the status of the swap, and a detailed history of the swap.

At the bottom of the page are any comments that have been left either by you or the other user. You can add a comment to the swap by clicking 'Add Comment' (only on Current Swaps).

You can edit the details of the item directly from the 'My Items' page by clicking on the pen and paper item on the right. From this page you can also add, or remove the photo that goes with the item. Make any changes you want then click 'Confirm Changes'

You can delete the item from the 'My Items' page by clicking on the red cross on the right. You cannot undo this so make sure you really want to delete the item! You will not be allowed to delete the item if it is involved in a current swap. If you are sure you want to delete it, go in to current swaps and cancel any swaps it is part of before deleting it.
